Timberwolves Start Summer League Tuneups

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Timberwolves prospects have started preparation for the NBA Summer League.

The Wolves have scheduled four days of practice at Target Center before the team's contingent travels to Las Vegas. The sessions include a free-and-open-to-the-public scrimmage on Wednesday night. The first game for the Wolves in the annual young-player showcase in Nevada is on Saturday afternoon.

The 13-man roster is highlighted by this year's draft picks Zach LaVine and Glenn Robinson III as well as returning players Shabazz Muhammad, Gorgui Dieng and Alexey Shved. Muhammad and Dieng were drafted last year.

Assistants David Adelman, Sidney Lowe, Sam Mitchell and Ryan Saunders will share coaching responsibilities for the squad.
