Timberwolves Single-Game Preseason, Home Opener Tickets On Sale Thursday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're looking to watch the Minnesota Timberwolves in either the preseason or by attending the home opener, Thursday is your day.

The Timberwolves announced Monday that single-game tickets for their preseason games and for the home opener will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Tickets can be purchased by going to the Timberwolves web site or by calling (612) 673-1234.

The Timberwolves will have two preseason games, the first coming on Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. against the Memphis Grizzlies. They will also face the Charlotte Hornets at 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Target Center.

Minnesota will also host Memphis for its regular season home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

It's a highly-anticipated season as the Timberwolves look to contend for a playoff spot. They have the last two NBA Rookie of the Year winners in Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns, a new head coach and president of basketball operations in Tom Thibodeau and plenty of new faces, including No. 5 overall pick Kris Dunn out of Providence.

Single-game tickets for the rest of the regular season home games will go on sale next month.
