Timberwolves Sign G Lorenzo Brown To 10-Day Contract

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Timberwolves signed guard Lorenzo Brown to a 10-day contract on Wednesday, team officials announced.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Timberwolves originally drafted Brown with the No. 52 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He appeared in three preseason games before being waived on Oct. 25, 2013.

This year, Brown has played in 19 games (17 starts) with the NBA D-League's Grand Rapids Drive. He's averaged 16.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and nearly four assists per game. To make room for Brown, the Timberwolves released center Miroslav Raduljica from his 10-day contract. He appeared in five games, averaging 1.6 points and one rebound.
