Timberwolves Hosting Free, Open Scrimmage Oct. 5

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Timberwolves announced Tuesday that they're hosting a scrimmage that will be free and open to the public on Monday, Oct. 5.

The scrimmage will be at 7 p.m. at Target Center. Due to the popularity of the team's open scrimmage back in the summer, fans will need to get their tickets on the Timberwolves' website starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 23. A maximum of six tickets per order will be available.

The Timberwolves held an open scrimmage back in July, and more than 15,000 fans filled the Target Center to take in the action.

The scrimmage kicks off the team's training camp and will feature a full roster. It's a chance to see Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins and Tyus Jones and others before the season approaches. The Target Center doors will open at about 6 p.m., and concessions and merchandise areas will be open.
