Thousands Attend Animal Humane Society's 'Walk For Animals'

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Today's weather gave a lot of Minnesotans a great reason to get outside and help a good cause.

Thousands attended the Humane Society's 41st annual Walk for Animals. Dogs, cats and even a few reptiles took their owners on a two-and-a half mile walk in Golden Valley.

Saturday's fundraiser, along with a phone bank earlier this week at WCCO, raised $990,000.
