MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday that Adam Thielen has been named the NFC's Special Teams Player of the Week.

Thielen blocked a punt, recovered the ball and ran it in for a touchdown in the first quarter of Sunday's 31-13 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. It was one of two blocked punts the Vikings returned for touchdowns.
