The Final Countdown To The Twins Home Opener

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It looks like the weather will be cooperating as the Minnesota Twins get ready for their home opener at Target Field Monday.

Twins President Dave St. Peter told WCCO's Sid Hartman and Dave Lee one of the big goals this year will be to increase season ticket sales.

"We are going to be right around 17,500, which obviously I would love it to be more," he said.

St. Peter said fans will notice signs for the All-Star Game, as well.

"Major League Baseball is already coming in to paint the town," he said.

The Twins take on the Oakland A's at 3:10 p.m.

The temperature at game time is expected in the low 50s.
