Teen Arrested Out Of State In Minneapolis Murder Case

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police credit tips from the public with helping them find a teenager suspected of killing a woman.

Police believe 17-year-old Ahmed Abdi fatally shot 21-year-old Ayan Abdulahi at a residence on the 2400 block of Portland Avenue on the afternoon of April 11.

Police originally said they didn't know the exact relationship between the suspect and victim, but say this likely wasn't a random act of violence.
