Construction Worker Extricated, Hospitalized After Incident In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis fire officials say a construction worker has been rescued after an incident Monday.

According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, the incident occurred at around 11 a.m. on the 500 block of 4th Avenue South. There, a construction worker fell and suffered an injury on a construction site.

Using a Stokes basket and an aerial device, the victim was extricated and taken to a nearby hospital.

The construction site is the location of the new Minneapolis Public Service Center.

The victim's condition is unknown.
