Target To Collaborate With Designer Adam Lippes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Target is hoping to score again with another designer collaboration.

In April, they caused a shopping frenzy at its stores across the nation when it released a limited edition line by designer Lilly Pulitzer. It even caused Target's website to crash.

Lippes will create a line of buffalo plaid-themed fall apparel.

There will be at least 50 items in the collection, including clothes, shoes, pet goods and housewares. They'll range in price from $20 to $130.

Target said its "plaid takeover" will begin in August.
