Target Looking To Sell West Campus In St. Louis Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Target's west campus could be moving.

According to a Target spokesperson, Target wants to put it's west campus building up for sale this November and move the 1,300 employees housed there to the Brooklyn Park campus.

The 10-story office building sits on the border of St. Louis Park and Minneapolis at I-394 and Wirth Parkway.

A Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal article said Hennepin County valued the property at $15 million.

This comes just five months after target laid-off 1,700 employees and closed roughly 1,400 open positions.

Target officials said they plan to move the team members into the Brooklyn Park Campus mid-2016.

The movie will not result in the loss of any employees.
