Target Announces Expansion For Dense Urban Areas (Outside Minnesota)
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Target is looking to expand in the New Year.
The retail giant is planning to open at least 11 stores in dense urban areas, including Philadelphia and Chicago.
The move is a change from the company's previous strategy of opening big box stores in the suburbs.
No new stores are planned for Minnesota.
