Tap Talk: Aitkin's 2nd Annual Harvest Moon Brew Fest

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're heading north this weekend, you may want to swing by Aitkin -- especially if you want to drink some delicious beer.

That's where Glacial Lakes Brewers will be having its 2nd Annual Harvest Moon Brew Fest at the historic Butler Building.

There, beer enthusiasts can try beverages from Surly, Jack Pine and Big Axe breweries, as well as Brainerd Lakes Beer and Sociable Cider Werks.

Food vendors also include Log Home Wood Fired Pizza and Rob's Smokehouse.

Part of the proceeds benefits Sylvia's Children, which provides schools for Africa's orphans.

The event begins Saturday, Sept. 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate.
