Suspect In Minneapolis Stabbing Death Arrested

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Minneapolis Police's Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested a 27-year-old man Wednesday, who has an outstanding warrant for premeditated first-degree murder.

Quanan Lee Machacek is accused of stabbing Cody Lee Rasche to death on the night of Sept. 10.

Police says Machacek and Rasche got into an argument on the 2400 block of Ogema Place.

Machacek allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Rasche before fleeing the scene.

Rasche was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he later died during surgery.

Machacek is being held at the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center.
