Survey Finds Which States Pay The Most For Car Repairs

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- When your check engine light comes on, what kind of a repair bill do you start to dread?

A new survey by CarMD shows drivers in Connecticut will pay the most, while drivers in Michigan have the lowest average repair cost.

The Connecticut bill averages about $411. It's $343 in Michigan.

Minnesota falls toward the lower end of the list, coming in 41st at $363.
