Subway Bedrace For Bridging Event Raises $88,000

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – People at Buck Hill made the most of what's left of the snow on Saturday.

The Subway Bedrace for Bridging event was held at the popular skiing destination.

This is how it works: Teams of four get to race down the tubing hill on specially covered mattresses.

Over 140 teams of four participated in the event, and they raised over $88,000, the group said.

All of the funds will be donated to Bridging, a Bloomington-based non-profit organization that provides furniture and household goods to local households in need.
