Great American Think-Off Applicants Must Tackle Income Inequality

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – This is the last week to submit an entry to be part of the 2016 Great American Think-Off.

It's been held every year since 1993 in New York Mills, Minn.

To enter, applicants must turn in an essay of up to 750 words on this year's topic, "Income inequality threatens democracy."

Applicant's essays must either agree or disagree with the topic. All entries must be in by Friday, and the winners are announced May 1.

The winners face off in a debate on June 11 at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
