Study: U Of M Ranked In Top 30 For Best Global Universities

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus was ranked as the 29th best global university, according to a study done by U.S. News & World Report.

The study, released Tuesday, ranks the U of M at number nine among U.S. public institutions and number three among Big Ten Conference public schools.

This study is U.S. News & World Report's first evaluation of higher education institutions worldwide.

The study looked at academic research and overall reputation to decide the rankings.

Harvard University claimed the number one spot, followed but Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
