Study Shows Concertgoers Are Happier

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- We get a lot of concerts rolling through the Twin Cities. For instance, Luke Bryan and Metallica are playing this Friday and Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Now a new study says going to concerts can make you happier.

Australian researchers say people who attended any sort of shared musical experience were more satisfied with their lives. It didn't matter if it was a big concert or just a night out dancing.

The study also showed people listening to music alone didn't have the same feelings of social well-being.
