Study: More People Procrastinate On Sleep

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- All of us have procrastinated at one time or another. Maybe on that big work report, chores or exercise? But how about procrastinating on your sleep?

A new study published in "Frontiers of Psychology" says that's now a real thing.

It's defined as failing to go to bed at the intended time, despite nothing really holding you back from doing so.

Researchers say they've seen an increase in "bedtime procrastination."

Perhaps due to people wanting to keep skimming around on Instagram, Facebook or playing that new game or app.

Past studies have showed about 20 percent of adults are chronic procrastinators.
