Stillwater Woman Is Finalist In Jamie Oliver's Cocktail Contest

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Stillwater, Minnesota photographer is a finalist to become an international cocktail star.

Stephany Wieland beat out 2,000 competitors from around the world, and is the only American finalist left in the "Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube" cocktail competition.

The "Peachy Piña Colada" is her contest cocktail, despite the fact she normally hates the drink.

"A lot of piña coladas taste like shampoo and it's gross," Stephany said. "I had this juice a few weeks ago. It was a pineapple-coconut juice and as soon as I tasted it I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this would make a really good drink!'"

Half cocktail, half personality -- it's no surprise her video made the final five.

The winner receives a trip to London, cooking and cocktail classes, dining at Jamie Oliver's restaurant and potential meetings with production companies.

"I think that is one of the most exciting prizes ever!" Stephany said. "It may lead to future videos."

Voting ends Wednesday, Oct. 8. Click here to vote for Stephany!
