Stillwater Ranked Top Town For Fall Colors

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Pretty soon Minnesota will be abundant with fall colors.

And now, one Minnesota town has just been named one of the best places in the country to see them.

Travel and Leisure Magazine ranked Stillwater, Minn. as the No. 3 best town to see fall colors.

The magazine says the annual grape stomp competition, which is this weekend, marks the start of fall.

Its editors also suggest hopping on a paddleboat river cruise to enjoy the colors.

Beating out Stillwater for the best fall foliage was Oakland, Maryland and Lake Placid, New York.
