'Steps Of Hope' Walk Aims To Benefit Autism Society Of MN

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- There will be an indoor walk at Southdale this weekend to benefit the Autism Society of Minnesota.

This Steps of Hope annual walk is the largest fundraiser for AuSM (pronounced "awesome"), which has been around since 1971.

Event director Lisa Sieben joined Jamie Yuccas and Jason DeRusha on WCCO 4 News At Noon to talk about how that society helps Minnesota families and individuals living with autism.

The Steps of Hope walk is Sunday, March 1 at Southdale Center in Edina. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The event goes until 11 a.m.
