Steele Co. Sheriff's Office Investigating Body Found On Roadside

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Officials are investigating after a body was found early Sunday morning in Steele County.

Steele County sheriff's deputies responded to a call about a dead person on the side of the road northeast of Owatonna Sunday.

Though the investigation is in its early stages, the sheriff's office said investigators are considering the death a possible homicide.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is also assisting with the investigation.
