State Trooper Pleads Guilty To Going 94 In 55 Zone
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minnesota State Trooper has entered a guilty plea in an April speeding case and admitted to driving 94 mph in a 55 mph zone for no good reason.
Sgt. Jesse Grabow, a 17-year veteran of the patrol, entered the plea on July 17, documents from Otter Tail County show. As part of the deal, he agreed to pay a fine of more than $500 for a petty misdemeanor charge.
The court accepted the plea.
On April 28, Grabow was caught speeding on Highway 210 in a State Patrol squad car and subsequently charged.
Following the incident, the State Patrol said its troopers aren't immune to the dangers of speeding and said Grabow "erred in judgement."
Grabow, of Barnesville, was temporarily reassigned following the incident.
