State Patrol: Motorcyclist Killed In Waseca County Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A motorcyclist was killed Sunday night after losing control and crashing on a southern Minnesota highway, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 9:08 p.m. on Highway 30 at County Road 63 in Waseca County. When officers arrived, a 2008 Harley Davidson was heading eastbound on Highway 30 when it left the road on the westbound side of the highway. The motorcycle was the lone vehicle in the crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the motorcyclist has not been released as the crash is still under investigation.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating with assistance from the Waseca County Sheriff's Office and the New Richland Police Department.
