State Patrol: Man Seriously Hurt In Maple Grove Rollover Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Twin Cities man was seriously injured in a rollover crash in Maple Grove Sunday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday to the area of eastbound Interstate 694 on the ramp to southbound Highway 169 on a report of a rollover crash. When officers arrived, a 2008 Mazda S3 had rolled over. Authorities say the vehicle lost control at the end of the ramp to Highway 169 and rolled.

The State Patrol says the driver, a 38-year-old Maple Grove man, was seriously hurt in the crash. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.

What led up to the accident is under investigation by the State Patrol with assistance from the Maple Grove Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office.
