State Patrol Investigating Fatal Crash In St. Michael

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – At least one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash near Interstate 94 in St. Michael, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 6:27 a.m. Monday on Highway 241 near the entrance ramp to I-94. The State Patrol said three people were involved in the crash. A 2001 Ford pick-up truck was heading northbound on Highway 241 and a 2000 Toyota Camry was southbound on Highway 241 turning left onto Oday Avenue.

The State Patrol said the pick-up truck broadsided the Camry, killing one person. Authorities said the driver of the truck, a 54-year-old Buffalo man, was not hurt in the crash.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
