State Patrol: Crash In Rice Co. Leaves 1 Dead

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving three people in Rice County.

Police say the accident happened on Highway 60 just west of Faribault at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

According to an incident report, a car and a pickup collided at Dalton Avenue.

A 16-year-old girl from Faribault was driving the car -- her injury was not life threatening.

Riding with her was an 86-year-old Faribault woman, who died.

A 31-year-old Cannon Falls man was driving the pickup -- he suffered no apparent injuries
