State Patrol: 1 Dead In Chisago County Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Cameron, Wisconsin, woman is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Chisago County Thursday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The driver, Melissa S. Kohls, 29, died after losing control of the Chevy Suburban. The car swerved into the left lane, ran off the road into the median ditch, rolled over multiple times and went over the median's safety cables before coming to as stop.
The two passengers, Bethany Kedrowski, also 29, from Chetek, Wisconsin, and Buster Bacon, 17, of St. Paul, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened at about 6 p.m. just south of Harris on Interstate 35.
The interstate is closed at Highway 95, with traffic being rerouted to Old Highway 61 while the state patrol investigates.
