State Patrol: 2 Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash In Chisago County

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two people are dead after their motorcycle crashed head-on into a van in Chisago County Saturday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol said 35-year-old Collin Orth of Milaca, Minnesota, was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Highway 95 near milepost 57 around 3 p.m. Saturday. Sara Orth, 34, was his passenger.

The motorcycle crossed over the center line and made contact with a Chrysler van. A Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling westbound then made contact with Collin Orth, State Patrol said.

Collin and Sara Orth both died after the crash, State Patrol said. At least five people were in the van. They received non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Trailblazer had no apparent injuries.
