State Patrol: 2 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured In Cass Co. Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two drivers are dead and an 81-year-old passenger is seriously injured after a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Cass County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Chevrolet Cobalt crossed the centerline on westbound Highway 210 near 25th Avenue Southwest at about 12:22 p.m., hitting an eastbound Toyota Prius head on.

Fifty-one-year-old James Freeman, from Brainerd, was driving the Cobalt.

Sixty-six-year-old Marilyn Rich, from Fargo, North Dakota, was driving the Prius.

Rich's passenger -- 81-year-old Gene Rich, also from Fargo -- was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. His condition has not been released.
