State Patrol: 1 Dead In Chisago County Head-On Crash
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – At least one person was killed in a head-on crash with a semi-truck in Chisago County Monday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 3:38 p.m. on Highway 8 at County Road 14. When they got to the scene, a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria had been traveling eastbound on Highway 8 when it crossed the center line and into the path of a semi-truck.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released.
The State Patrol said what led up to the crash is under investigation. Authorities said the road was dry at the time of the crash.
