State Fairgrounds Hosts Giant Rummage Sale

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) -- Many people spent the weekend rummaging for new things.

Rummage is a giant pop-up market of several retail vendors, held at the State Fairgrounds. There were more than 40 vendors, selling a variety of things from sports-related merchandise, art, jewelry, things for kids and much more.

The event also had activities for all ages, including leather-making. But the event is called Rummage for a reason.

"That activity of rummage, we intentionally made it a verb, that idea of coming here and rummaging through," Joseph Alton with The Beer Dabbler and The Growler Magazine said. "It's not a garage sale, it's not used stuff but as you can see, lots of different stuff for people to dig through and find some deals."

There were also 15 bands who performed, craft beer and fair-inspired food.
