St. Paul's Lexington Restaurant Sold ... Again

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- For the third time in less than a year, the iconic Lexington Restaurant in St. Paul has been sold. But this time, it sounds like the new owners are going to stick around.

The famous location has been bought by three well-known restaurateurs: Josh Thoma and Kevin Fitzgerald, who own the Smack Shack in Minneapolis, and Jack Riebel, the former executive chef and co-owner of Butcher and The Boar in Minneapolis.

A news conference on the deal will be held Thursday.

The Lexington is located on Grand Avenue and Lexington Parkway South. It has been a staple in the Twin Cities for three-quarters of a century.
