St. Paul's Historic Schmidt Brewery Sign To Shine Again

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Schmidt Brewery sign hasn't been around since the early 1990s, but it will make a triumphant return to St. Paul's Fort Road neighborhood at the end of June.

The sign above the historic brewery on West Seventh will be re-lit on Saturday, June 21, in conjunction with the first ever GermanFest Minnesota, according to developer Dominium.

Neighborhood representatives, Dominium Senior Vice President Mark Moorhouse and St. Paul City Councilmember Dave Thune will take part in the lighting ceremony at 8:30 p.m.
