St. Paul To Open European Christmas Market

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota's capital city will be opening its own Christmas market this holiday season.

The European Christmas Market will open in St. Paul beginning Friday Nov. 28.

Organizers say the holiday market will include local, handmade crabest offts, European inspired food, mulled wine and a special beer by Great Waters Brewery Co.

The St. Paul Christmas Market will be held on the corridor between St. Peter Street and Wabasha Street N. on West 7th Place.

It will run 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 29 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30.

Admission is free.

Earlier this year, Minneapolis organizers announced instead of the long-standing Holidazzle parade they will be hosting the new Holidazzle Village. Minneapolis' holiday village will also open on Friday, Nov. 28.
