Robber Waits In Victim's Car With Stun Gun In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A woman was robbed by a man with a stun gun who was waiting for her in her car after work, according to a report from St. Paul Police.

Investigators say the victim was leaving the Domino's Pizza at Grand Avenue and Lexington Parkway just after 4 a.m. The suspect had been hiding in her back seat and shocked the victim with a stun gun when she got in the car, a police spokesperson said.

The victim told police the suspect demanded the night's deposit from the store, which she didn't have. Police say she jumped out of the car and ran away screaming while the suspect made off with her backpack, cell phone and wallet, fleeing on foot. The victim said the suspect was wearing a ski mask at the time of the robbery.

The St. Paul Police Department is investigating.
