Man, 27, fatally shot in downtown St. Paul

Downtown St. Paul shooting leaves one man dead

Police in St. Paul, Minnesota, say an arrest has been made after a man was fatally shot in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, in late April. 

A police spokesperson said the shooting occurred on April 30 just before 9 p.m. on the 200 block of Seventh Street East. 

The man who was shot called police to report it, and responding officers found him with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The 27-year-old was taken to Regions Hospital, where he later died.

He was identified as Adarius S. Glees of St. Paul.

In a June 5 update, police say a 26-year-old St. Paul man was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the killing. 

This was the fourth homicide in the city this year, police said.
