St. Paul Saints End Year With Record-Setting Season

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The St. Paul Saints have had quite the year! In addition to getting a new stadium, they have a new record.

The Saints ended the year Monday on a high note by having a record-setting regular season.

It was a beautiful day for baseball at CHS Field Monday. The Saints beat the New Jersey Jackals with an 11 - 2 win.

The Saints' 74 wins this season are a team record, and the second-most in the history of the American Association.

Next up for the team? The playoffs.

They face the Sioux City Explorers Wednesday night in the first round of a best-of-five series.
