Police: Drug Suspect In Hospital After Fleeing, Jumping Wall On I-94

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul police say a suspect in a narcotics investigation is in the hospital after attempting to evade police Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they were investigating a narcotics call in downtown St. Paul when the suspect took off running and jumped a wall at Wabasha Street and Interstate 94.

After the fall, the male suspect was taken to Regions Hospital for non-life threatening injuries suffered in the fall. Police say he will possibly be kept overnight.
