St. Paul Police Arrest 3 Boys Over Stolen Car, Gun Threat

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A confrontation over a stolen car led police to arrest three boys in St. Paul Friday.

Police received a report of a stolen car around 1 p.m. on the 200 block of Stinson Street. The victim said when they confronted a young man they believed took it, the boy pulled out a gun and ran into the house.

"As we arrived to the scene, an officer believed he saw a gun up in the second story window, at which point the house was secured. We got neighbors out for their safety and SWAT was activated," Sgt. Paul Paulos said.

He says the incident was resolved peacefully. Police are still searching for the weapon that was seen by the officer.
