MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul police say a 9-year-old boy who had been missing since Tuesday night has been found and is safe.

Police say Juelz Calvin Fant was reported missing Tuesday night and there was concern for his safety as he was not dressed for the weather. Authorities say his sister's boyfriend saw him walking down the street, grabbed him and took him to his home late Wednesday afternoon.

He said he went to a friend's house Tuesday night and stayed there, then spent Wednesday with friends. He said he knows he should have called his mother to tell her where he was and knows that something bad could have happened to him.

He apologized for causing the public to worry about him.
