85-Year-Old Woman Killed, 3 Injured In Head-On Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- St. Paul fire officials say they needed to extract victims involved in a fatal two-car crash Monday morning.

According to the St. Paul police, the crash occurred at about 11 a.m. One vehicle was traveling east on Pennsylvania Avenue near Interstate 35E.

Investigators believe the vehicle crossed the center line, where it struck an SUV head-on.

An 85-year-old woman was killed in the crash. She was identified as No Do, of St. Paul. She was a passenger in the SUV that was struck by the other vehicle.

Three other people were taken to Regions Hospital with injuries. Their condition was not immediately reported.

Police have not released the identities of anyone else involved in the collision, and are working to determine whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
