St. Paul police searching for driver who hit, killed man on mobility scooter

UN says Minneapolis ICE killings may have violated int'l law, and more headlines

Police are looking for the person responsible for a deadly hit-and-run Wednesday night in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The St. Paul Police Department says officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Phalen Boulevard and Rose Avenue at approximately 9:10 p.m.

There, officers found a 65-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Regions Hospital, where he died on Thursday.

Investigators say the victim had been crossing the street on a mobility scooter when he was struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene.

Police are canvassing the area for any survelliance cameras that may have captured the incident. 

The victim's identity has not been released.
