Death In St. Paul Marks City's 21st Homicide Of The Year

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is in custody after a woman was found dead early Sunday morning in St. Paul.

The St. Paul Police Department says the woman was pronounced dead shortly after 2 a.m. in an apartment on the 900 block of St. Paul Avenue.

Officers had been called to the Highland neighborhood residence on a weapons complaint.

A man was arrested at the scene. Police did not identify him, but say he knew the victim.

No other suspects are being sought.

The death marks the 21st homicide of the year in St. Paul.
