St. Louis County Deputies Save Man From Heroin Overdose

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Deputies in St. Louis County were able to save a man from dying of a heroin overdose Friday morning using Narcan.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, just before 6:15 a.m. deputies and medical personnel responded to a call of a heroin overdose on the 8200 block of Mahnomen Road.

Upon arrival, deputies found a 24-year-old man unresponsive.

Deputies administered a nasal Narcan spray and the man became responsive.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
