St. Cloud Man Threatens To Stab 19-Year-Old Woman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A St. Cloud man is facing assault charges after he threatened to stab a teenager with a pocket knife Wednesday.

Benjamin Albert Czeck, 27, is facing charges of second-degree assault.

According to the St. Cloud Police Department, at 5:51 p.m. officers responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of 32nd Avenue N.

Upon arrival, police learned that Czeck had cut a 19-year-old woman with a pocket knife and threatened to stab her.

The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury to her wrist. She was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries.

Police said that Czeck had left the scene prior to their arrival. However, officers found him a short while later in the 3200 block of Division St. West.

Czeck is currently being held in the Stearns Co. jail.
