St. Cloud Woman Arrested, Accused Of Pulling Knife On Woman

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 56-year-old St. Cloud woman was arrested after being accused of assaulting another woman and holding a knife to her throat.

The incident happened Saturday morning. Officers responded to a report along the 100 block of 19th Avenue North.

The victim, an unnamed 54-year-old woman, said that she had been involved in an argument over property.

The other woman, she said, struck her in the head, threw her down and held a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her.

The victim sustained some injuries from being struck in the head, but did not require hospitalization.

Police took Linda Kay Kruger into custody, and booked her at Stearns County Jail.

She now stands to be charged with second- and fifth-degree assault, and already had a warrant out for fifth-degree controlled substance.
