Protesters March Through St. Anthony Streets

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Protesters were marching through the streets of St. Anthony Saturday, calling for justice for Philando Castile.

The protest began at City Hall around 6 p.m. The group of about 70 or 80 then left City Hall and protested in the streets before stopping at St. Anthony Village Wine and Spirits, located at 2700 County Road 88.

That liquor store and at least one other in the area closed early Saturday, leaving notes on their doors apologizing to customers.

The protest ended peacefully after the group marched back to City Hall.
